Understand the business
We learn how the business makes money, how decisions are made and what the management team needs to know.
Good finance work starts with context. We connect available financial data with relevant operating measures, then build reporting and planning around the decisions your team needs to make.
The process adapts to your systems, current reporting and the outcomes in scope. We agree the work before it begins.

We map the financial and operational information available, note gaps and understand how it is created.
We organize reporting inputs and map the performance drivers relevant to your business questions.
That may include management reports, budgets, forecasts or KPI analysis, depending on agreed requirements.
We review results, identify actions and improve the reporting process as business questions evolve.
Suppose a tea seller records PKR 800,000 in revenue from 1,000 kg sold, with PKR 200,000 in gross profit. These figures are illustrative only.
How would price, sales volume, product mix or input costs change the result?
Gross profit per kg is not net profit. A fuller view may also consider operating costs, payment timing and working capital. Operational volumes may come from sales, inventory or production systems rather than the accounting platform.
Would a different price or discount change the margin in a meaningful way?
Which products, services or customer groups contribute most to the result?
How do input costs, staffing or delivery capacity affect unit profitability?
When does revenue become cash, and what needs funding along the way?
Accounting data shows financial results; operational data may sit in other systems. We identify relevant sources during discovery and agree how those measures can be used.
